a year or so ago I changed the default home page in ie11 to google. I now want to go back to ie. I clcked the tools icon, then internet options but the was asked to enter the url n the homepage box. I don't know what that is and whatever i try, I get "aboutblank".

Solved How to sort Video Files?
Hi all
I wanted to sort out video files taken over the past several years on Nokia phones and Iphones.
I had saved them on my laptop, but when I go to sort them either with Date, Date Modified or Date Created, it just sorts the videos from when I first moved the videos from my hard drive to my laptop.
Is there any way/software to get the metadata? for the videos?, I wanted to sort them...

F12 boot menu, second monitor- possible?
Hi, I have an Acer laptop with win8.1 dual boot with Ubuntu 14LTS. When used at home it is sitting at the side of my desk using a USB-3-hub for external mouse and keyboard plus network and I have a 23" monitor plugged into the HDMI port.
At start up I tap the F12 (external keyboard works fine) and get the boot menu to choose windows/Ubuntu -- but it only displays on the out of view, laptop...

Has there been any other issue like this?

...appears to cause computer to freeze when IE visits some sites. Hard reboot is required.
That I know of, it happens on Netflix, EpixHD, HBOGO and trying to log into some premium movie sites.
Not sure what they have in common. Perhaps it's some type of Flash?

How To Stop Windws frm Reinstalling Stock Wireless Driver?
Running Windows 8 on an HP Pavillion with an Intel Core i7-4700MQ CPU @ 2.40 GHz. 64 bit operating system. (Hope all this info is relevant!)

Solved Solution for getting rid of all Win10 updates
I came across this blog site where it explained how to be FREE from the Win10 downloads/upgrades when you don't want them.
I downloaded the small app, scanned the file for virus and malware prior to installing (all was OK).

Creating file sharing network with Win98&WinXP
Hello!
I have hard time dealing with creating a network with Win8.1 as a primary home computer/file server and two gaming computers on Win98 and WinXP. All of them connected via simple 4-port lan switch with internet cable incuded. Win8 and WinXP machines can see internet connection but not each other. I am not really good at networking so any help is welcome.

BSOD Random Times Followed by Power Cycle before POST
Hi All,
I've been dealing with BSOD's for a while and have never been able to find the cause. Sometimes the computer will BSOD and restart fine and run for a little while and BSOD again. Sometimes it will BSOD and then refuse to start, just power cycling before the BIOS screen even comes up.
To fix this I usually wait 24 hours or I've realized I can remove one stick of RAM and that also...

Converting from MBR from GPT when Installing from HDD
Hi,
I have a problem. I have downloaded Windows to a separate partition on my HDD, and used EasyBCD to add a boot entry. Now there is a problem that I forgot to convert my HDD to GPT, and Windows 8.1 is not installing. If I will convert to GPT, my Windows setup files will be lost! :cry::cry::cry:
