BSOD when I connect to PPPoe KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE
In order to fix this i need to uninstall the drivers from the ethernet ,delete connection then I install them again, redo connection and it works fine for a week or two...then again randomly....*when I try to connect PPPoe it does not connect and finally gives me the BSOD*... I saw it is about ndis.sys in the memory dump, could not read more, in my debug.
I also use hotspot from the windows...

100% Disk Usage at Startup
Hello,
My computer is an HP Envy 15 with Windows 8.1 and I bought it last year. Since I have gotten the laptop, I think I had this issue of disk usage.
Every time I startup my computer and open the task manager, the disk usage will be at 100% and that slows my computer by a lot. Then after 10 minutes or so, it will drop to 0 to 10%.

Run OS off flashdrive?
I'm reading a lot about running an OS off a flashdrive and needing fast speeds. Do modern flashdrives use TRIM, like SSDs, to improve longevity? Any way you could run 8 off a flashdrive that uses a ramdisk so less writes? I'm thinking I can run 8 in a VM under some Linux flavor.
Also, I think if I get a drive w/ at least 100 MB/s read and write I'll be alright.

RAM never clearing out when downloading

I built a PC about a year ago and everything has run great on it besides this. My only issue I've noticed is when I'm download ANYTHING large enough it will max out my 8 GBs of RAM (a steam games for example). Say I'm downloading a 30gb game file. Laptop Toshiba C55-A5300 with No bootable Device
My laptop Satellite Toshiba got stuck and coming to the no boot device status. I created one Bootable USB from Microsoft website that helped to install windows 8 on laptop. Windows 8, services stopped and other
I stopped the services trying to get a clean boot to update to 8.1 I should have hidden them, I guess. Now the machine wont boot. Someone has put a password in the F2 boot up and I don't have it. Laptop - Power Settings - Stuck on power saver?
Earlier this afternoon I switched my power settings to power saver as my laptop was dieing.
I shut it down like this.
I hooked it back up to power and switched back to high performance power setting.
However, while playing games the performance is horrible. I even switched back to power saver while playing and it made no difference.
Any ideas?
