Wake on LAN - Windows 8.1 - Blank Screen
Hi, I think I came up with a different issue on my WOL.
It used to work before the 8.1 update.
After update, it stopped working but not entirely.
It does power the computer, but the screen stays blank / black and nothing else happen.
In need to kill my Laptop by holding the power button to reboot.
I installed the latest drivers.
I disabled the Faststart option.

BSOD's occuring randomly on Windows 8 Pro.
Hello, I believe I have a major problem with my computer and I have come to this forum to ask for support.
The problem I am having is being caused by ntoskrnl.exe And I believe this is a major problem. Before it gets out of hand I have come to this area to report it.

on my wifes laptop, when she opens any website from her start screen it redirects to ebay after a couple of seconds. Any ideas welcome, we are very new to win 8 and this is very frustrating. There is no problem with win explorer on the desktop.

BSOD playing League of Legends Driver_IRQL_Less_than_equal
I can not seem to figure this out, i attached all my dump files. A BSOD happens every once in awhile while playing League of Legends and I also get warnings about using an excessive amount of memory even though I definitely should have enough RAM to handle it no problem. Solved Missing music in the XBox Music App (Metro)
Using the Windows 8.1 music app, I have properly setup my library to load from my second HDD, but it only loads 80 artists out of over 120. Anyone know why and how I could fix it? All my music is properly tagged and in Artist/Year - Album/ folder format.

Presets etc for Radeon 6670 Being LOST by 8.1? Why? Fix?
Gang I have a sapphire card for which I needed to setup a Preset with adjusted [lengthened, unfortunately] idle and core clock settings to keep the driver from timing out all too frequently.
After not using the system for a few days [shut down] I came back to find that the settings are unapplied, the card returned I guess to default state, and Overdrive switched OFF [I keep it ON].

HP's "Quickstart" acts as a "Start Menu"
I just saw this on a new HP laptop I am working on, it actually makes a kind of Program Menu, so if you don't want a full Start Menu like Windows 7, you can use this to just have links to your Programs:

Startup items taking forever to load
My PC boots up in 10-15 seconds, but then it sits at my desktop with everything functional for about 10-15 minutes before my startup items (Battle.net, Spotify, DNSCrypt, etc.) actually start loading up.
